Since the steps of the navigation process are better laid out, the application building process has been simplified, thus decreasing the amount of time it takes to create a new, custom database application. The features like dashboard for applications, the search tab, inline editing, and contextual linking enhance accessibility and organization inside the builder, thus enhancing the overall experience for the user.
Mobile Applications Provide Access to Critical Information Anywhere, Anytime With mobility being critical to businesses, Zoho Creator offers native apps for iOS and Android devices, allowing business users to manage their apps and access the data on their mobile devices. The new mobile apps allow users to access their Creator apps – personal, shared and workspace apps – along with the forms within the apps. Users can add, edit and delete data within the app. Users can also search, filter, group, sort and apply custom actions on data. Creator mobile apps support all deluge events.

Robust Customer Portal Feature Improves Collaboration For organizations that need to service a large number of customers, the new customer portal feature allows business owners to share critical applications and information with important users. These users simply log into a private portal with a username and password; they do not have to be Zoho users to access the portal. Once in the portal, users can access the relevant applications, view reports and find the resources that the portal owner has elected to share with them. For example, customers can log into an online store’s ordering portal and place orders through the order management application, view their past orders and even resolve any support issues related to ordering. This feature releases the resources of the organization as users can now manage the applications themselves through this portal.
